Chairman of the Cyrenaica Society, Abdul Hamid Al-Kaza has condemned in the strongest terms, the shelling of the residential area of Al-Furnaj in Tripoli, describing it as a "heinous crime".

"This crime was carried out by the airforce of war criminal Haftar, and has killed innocent people," Al-Kaza stated on Facebook.

He held the world, -represented in the United Nations mission in Libya- the humanitarian responsibility that will go down in history as a "mark of shame in the face of this institution and its officials", as he described it.
