Libyan girl rings second in Quran contest

Libyan child, Huda Mansour rang second in the international contest (Tijan Al-Noor) for reciting Quran by 9-13 year old, which was held by Aljazeera Children Channel late last year.

About 1700 contesters from all over the world participated in the contest where Huda won a prize of 75.000 Qatari riyal equal to 20.600 USD.

Similar to Huda, the Libyan child, Abdulmalik Ekreem, rang first in the fourth Libyan-Tunisian contest for reciting Quran held lately in Tunisia.
