The Libya Club for Tours organized on Thursday a trip to the Amazigh city of Zuwara in western Libya under the theme “Extend Bridges of Love and Communication among Libyans.”
The two-day trip was co-organized by Zuwara Municipality, and Identity and Heritage Society in the city.
A number of families from over the country participated in the trip where they toured the tourist and heritage sites in Zuwara including the fascinating Farwa Island and the old market.
The Municipal Council of Zuwara said the trip was aimed at encouraging domestic tourism, building trust and security, and conveying a clear image of the Libyan cities.
