The Libyan national athletics team is to take part in the Arab Cross-country Running Championship, which will take place in Al-Hammamat, Tunisia starting February 14.

The Libyan team will be represented by nine athletes, four will compete in the adults' category, four others will be racing in the youth category while one athlete will compete in the female races.

The Arab Championship contests will host at least 400 athletes from 18 Arab countries, who will race in variable distances, such as 12 km for men, 8 km for women, 8 km for the young male athletes, and 6 km for the young female athletes.
