Libyan national soccer team has kept its FIFA ranking 100th position on the world teams’ list with 341 points this month.

On the African level, Libya came 21 in a 54 teams list issued Thursday, while it retreated one position on the Arab level coming 12.

The Libyan Football Federation contracted earlier Algeria-Belgian Adel Amrouche as the new coach of Libya to replace national Omar Al-Maryami.

Amrouche to lead Libya through the 2019 AFCON qualifiers as Libya tops Group 5 with three points followed by South Africa with goal difference, while Nigeria and Seychelles come third and fourth respectively without points.

Libya will play Nigeria next September while South Africa will play Seychelles as part of the second round of the qualifiers.
