Spanish coach, Javier Clemente, the Libyan national team’s coach, invited 23 footballers to play Sao Tome and Principe next Wednesday, March 23 in Sao Tome as part of the third round of the qualifiers of Cup of African Nations, Gabon 2017.

The 23-player list did not include Al-Ahli’s defender, Ali Salama, but it included the striker of the Jordanian club Al-Hussein Erbid, Akram Al-Zway.

The Libyan team will fly on board of a private airplane two days prior to the match due to the shortage of time as the players of Al-Ahli and Al-Itihad clubs are playing important matches in Sudan and Ghana on March 19 as part of CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.

The list of the players includes Mohammed Nashnoush, Hamza Al-Burji, Muftah Al-Dersi, Al-Sadiq Al-Fitouri, Moayed Al-Gritli, Tarq Al-Jamal, Ahmed Al-Sagheer, Osama Shateiba, Mansour Al-Burki, Al-Moutasem Bellah Al-Musrati, Marwan Al-Mabrook, Mohammed Tabbal, Hamdo Al-Masri, Mohammed Muneer, Moayed Al-Lafi, Faysal Al-Badri, Mohammed Zaiba, Mohammed Al-Ghanoudi, Akram Al-Zway, Ahmed Al-Terbi, Sanad Al-Wurfalli, Mohammed Al-Shebli, Al-Moutasem Bellah Sabbo.
