The commander of the force assigned to secure the Abu Grein – Allud road, Mustafa Zanad, warned the truck drivers, who are transporting fuel to the south, of driving on the Abu Grein – Allud road because there is a fake checkpoint for IS militants.

Zanad added in a statement that the IS militants who managed to flee the clashes areas at the beginning of the operation of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos have set up a fake checkpoint at Saturday midnight, pointing out that it is located exactly at Al-Baghla crossroads on the road linking Abu Grein to Al-Jufra and trough Abu Najim district in southern Sirte.

The field operations room in Sirte warned earlier the residents of passing through Abu Grein - Sirte road and Abu Grein – Al-Jufra road at night.

It is noteworthy that one of the Third Force’s fighters was killed and another was injured in an armed attack on their car while they were going back from Sabha through Allud road back on September 18.
