Stability and diplomatic endeavors to solve the present crisis in Libya are vital factors to avoid the recurrence of dangerous episodes like the kidnapping of the four Italian workers of Bonatti Company, said the Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gantiloni.

In a joint press conference, on Tuesday, in Rome with the UN special representative for Libya Bernardino Leon, Gantiloni further denounced the kidnapping, emphasizing that preventing such incidents basically depends on the country stability and success of diplomacy.

The Minister warned that the Libyan parties will be internationally isolated if they decline to sign the peace agreement reached in Skhirat, Morocco under the auspice of the UNSMIL.

Both the Italian Foreign Minister and UN representative for Libya urged the two parties to support the peace option, accept the agreement and join the forthcoming dialogue rounds which will discuss the annexes and the features of the awaited National Accord Government.

"The International Community, now, has an important step after many months of diplomatic work and this encourages the impression that there is a map for solving the Libyan crisis." Bernardino Leon said.

The UN Representative further added there are three important factors to achieve success in the coming weeks: being committed to form a national unity government, security and reaching a final version of the agreement.
