The Interior Ministry has confirmed the death of a whole family on Monday in a fire that broke out at their home in the district of Jafara, west of Tripoli, as a result of storing fuel.
"The fire was triggered by an electric fault and spread throughout the house causing the stored fuel to catch fire and burn into flames. All members of the family were killed," the ministry explained.
The ministry urged citizens not to store fuel or any inflammable materials inside their homes, for their safety.
