The member of the crisis committee in the health sector in the south region Mansour al-Jundi said on Monday that the World Health Organization (WHO) had agreed to provide the southern region with 40 consultants in all medical specialties.

Al-Jundi explained in a press statement that the organization will bear the accommodation and transfer expenses, in addition to the salaries of the consultants and their protection for 6 months, extendable when needed.

He added that the committee has chosen four hospitals in the south, namely Sabha Medical Center, and the hospitals of Murzuk, Ubari, and Burqin.
