The World Health Organization (WHO) confirmed Sunday the delivery of 10 trucks carrying emergency medical supplies to 10 public hospitals in Libya.

"The cities of Tobruk, Derna, Benghazi, Sirte, the Green Mountain, Al-Bayda, Sabha, Murzuk, Ghat, and Ubari had received 130 emergency kits and another 40 medical kits dedicated to injury treatment, sufficient for about one million and 300 thousand patients for 3 months," the WHO stated on Facebook.

It further clarified that it had activated two logistic service centres in Sabha and Benghazi, and provided them with 5 kits of cholera treatment to be used when needed.
