The World Health Organization (WHO) office in Libya said Wednesday that a shipment consisting of medicines sufficient to treat thousands of patients will reach 40 primary health care centres and hospitals in Libya by this week.

WHO expressed via Twitter its gratitude to the German and Italian embassies in Libya, and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) for their keenness that those in need receive these vital medicines.
