The World Health Organization office in Libya handed over Wednesday 20.000 hemodialysis machines to the Ministry of Health, which the Ministry had contracted to purchase from Belgium with the support of the World Health Organization.

The WHO paid approximately 300,000 euros to cover the cost of shipment and freight costs.

According to the WHO, the supplies will cover the need of all dialysis centers for three months, and will be distributed under the supervision of the ministry to all the centers and departments of dialysis in Libya.
