The medical advisory committee set up to confront the Coronavirus pandemic in the Al-Wahat region has warned of an unprecedented surge of the virus in the region over the coming period.
The committee indicated that the situation seems to forecast what it called a ‘genuine disaster’, in the event of the citizens in the region continuing to disregard the advised precautionary measures, which are demanded for the protection of all citizens.
In a statement, the committee announced that 17 new cases of the Coronavirus were recorded in the Al-Wahat, seven of which were admitted to the local Al-Wahat Isolation Center at the Jalu General Hospital.
