The United States has welcomed the sanctions slapped on the Russian Wagner group and its partners by the European Union.
The US said the EU sanctions on Wagner group show joint commitment to tackle destabilizing activities by Wagner in Libya, Ukraine, Syria, Central Africa and the Sahel region.
Washington hailed the commitment of the EU to increase support for respecting human rights across the world and for regional security and states' sovereignty.
