The US will start soon, granting multiple-entry education visas for Libyan students after the program remained blocked for years, Libya's Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed on Friday.

In a statement, the ministry said the step was "the result of close cooperation with the US State Department and the efforts of Foreign Minister Najla Al-Manqoush, in service of the public interest, which contributes to the prosperity of Libyan-American relations."

The ministry expressed hope that this will contribute to strengthening the relations of strategic cooperation between the two countries.
