The US Agency for International Development (USAID) has provided nearly 50,000 kilograms of asphalt mixture to 19 municipalities for cold-mix road repair methods, the US Embassy in Libya said on Monday.
"This assistance will help municipalities accomplish more effective repair and maintenance of municipal roads," the embassy wrote on Facebook.
It said the development aid provided by the USAID comes within the framework of the Taqarab project launched by the agency in cooperation with the municipalities.
The project provides training on how to repair potholes and cracks in the road and necessary equipment for repairs.
