The United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) announced the start of arrangements for the resumption of comprehensive discussions by the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum, noting that it should be conducted anon.

The Mission clarified that this endeavour was based on recent consultations, to include those embraced by Morocco, having held extensive discussions with key Libyan and international partners.

The Acting Head of UNSMIL, Stephanie Williams, welcomed the outcome of the recent consultations which took place in Montreax, under the auspices of the Center for Humanitarian Dialogue, in a timescale between September 7 – 9 and praised the benevolence of the Libyan participants, in a search for peace.
