UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Libya, Maria Ribeiro, said that the mission is working on a study to determine the features of the city of Benghazi, including the demographic changes that occurred due to the forced displacement during the war in Benghazi.

Ribeiro and the UN delegation discussed during a meeting with Benghazi’s military-elected Mayor Abdul Rahman Alabbar on Thursday the city's humanitarian needs and the best means to expand the UN services in the eastern region, in addition to the opening of the UN office in Benghazi in the coming period.
