The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) called for the necessity of withdrawal of all foreign fighters and mercenaries from Libya, in line with the ceasefire agreement reached by the Libyan players on October 23.
The UNSC stressed in a statement issued on Tuesday the importance of achieving effective and reliable systems, under Libyan leadership, to monitor the ceasefire as part of their commitment to Libya’s sovereignty, independence, unification and territorial integrity, for the national unity of the country.
