The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) organized in the past two days in Tripoli an open day with the participation of more than 100 civil society organizations from all over Libya.

The UNICEF reviewed during the event the programs implemented by the UNICEF in Libya, including child protection, education, health, food, youth, and water and sanitation.

The UNICEF's Special Representative for Libya Abdul Rahman Ghandour spoke during his opening speech on the organization's commitment to expand its programs for children in Libya, through implementing new country programs for the period 2019-2020.
