A group of Libyan tribal leaders met on Tuesday with British Ambassador to Libya, Caroline Hurndall, to discuss stability and the political impasse in the country.

"A privilege to meet this group of tribal leaders from across Libya today," the UK ambassador tweeted.

Hurndall said she was "impressed by their collective efforts to generate inclusive dialogue that ensures all Libyan voices are heard," indicating that this would enhance stability and pave the way for successful elections.
