The Turkish ambassador to Libya, Kenan Yilmaz, met Tuesday in Tripoli with the first deputy head of the High Council of State (HCS), Masoud Abed, and discussed boosting bilateral relations and the importance of holding elections as soon as possible, stressing the significance of dialogue among all parties in Libya, leading to calm and stability as well as a unified executive authority.

The HCS said the meeting saw discussions on economic resources and security importance of the Libyan south, especially in the efforts to fight terrorism and human trafficking as well as drug dealing, adding that the residents in the south are enduring all of those activities and terrible living conditions and stressed the need for achieving stability and prosperity in the region.
