A group of gunmen attacked Monday an employee at the Tobruk Medical Center during working hours and took him to an unknown destination.
A source at the centre clarified that the employee called Saqr Faraj was assaulted and arrested by members of an armed groups affiliated to the Security Directorate of Tobruk while doing his duty as the night manager of the centre.
The staff of Tobruk Medical Center, of all disciplines, denounced the assault on their colleague, demanding the Mayor of Tobruk and the head of the Security Directorate of Tobruk to intervene immediately to prevent such irresponsible actions that distort the work of the security authorities.
