The elders council of Tobruk banned the use of weapons inside residential areas as a child was killed two days ago by a random gunshot.
The council told the security department to take the needed measures to ban gunshots at celebrations and wedding parties in coordination with the wedding halls' owners.
This step addresses the recent calls to end the random gunshots in the city.
