The Education Ministry at the Presidential Council’s government announced a new exam for students who failed the secondary school final certificate exams in one subject only in the second round.
The students were allowed to have a supplementary exam for three or less failed subjects and according to the Education Minister Othman Abduljalil, the decision was taken in coordination with the decision makers at the education administrations in different municipalities.
The minister added that such a decision was also prompted by the fact that many students could not have normal exams in certain areas due to security issues.
