Chairman of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj has demanded the General Electricity Company to proceed immediately to address the issue of load shedding and distribute power fairly between the regions.

Al-Sarraj issued instructions to the ministers of planning and finance during a meeting with the Chairman of the General Electricity Company to finance the projects of the company in order to finish them and to find a radical solution to the power cut issue, according to the Information Office of the Presidential Council.

Large areas of the country, particularly Tripoli, are suffering from power cuts for long hours, especially with the high temperature these days.
