The spokesman for the Chairman of Presidential Council, Mohammed Sallak, has confirmed the arrival of the committee designated to deal with the crisis in the south, and that they have reached the city of Sabha on Wednesday to sit with the conflicting parties in order to broker a ceasefire.

Sallak stated in a press conference that the committee will begin working to create services that will help aid citizens affected by the clashes, and coordinate with relevant authorities to provide the city's hospitals with medicines and medical supplies, as well as the transfer of a number of wounded for treatment in Tripoli hospitals.
