The Philippines is seeking the recovery of the remains of four of its citizens who were amongst victims of ISIS in Libya in 2015.

The Charge d’Affairs of the Philippine Embassy in Libya indicated in press statements that he has been coordinating with the Libyan authorities for five years to assist the families of the victims in recovering the remains of their loved ones.

He also added that the embassy is working with the International Red Cross Committee, which is heading efforts to locate the area where the bodies are assumed to have been buried in order to recover the remains of the victims.
