The Presidential Council (PC) issued a decision on Saturday to raise the salaries of pensioners and to include the necessary value for implementing this decision within the financial arrangements for next year.
The PC assigned a specialized financial observer to oversee the pending process of distributing the retiree payments by the beginning of 2019.
The Ministry of Finance will begin consultations with the Retirees Association in preparation for the implementation process, pointing out that the value of increase will be included after completing the lists of retirees and the data and information required for their enumeration, according to the PC's decree.
