The Minister of Oil and Gas, Muhammad Aoun, on Saturday, met with the Chairman of the Land and Maritime Borders Committee at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation to discuss joint boundary issues.
The two sides tackled several topics in this regard, including the implications for oil and gas exploration and production activities, especially in the maritime areas, according to a statement by the oil ministry's media office.
Minister Aoun expressed his appreciation for "the patriotic spirit" of the Land and Maritime Boundary Commission and its role in preserving the oil and gas resources for future generations.
