The Libyan Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has confirmed the loss of 22,000 barrels of oil per day due to a leak at one of the Sarir Tobruk oilfield pipelines.

AGOCO explained that this leak was caused by delayed budgets and the company’s inability to maintain oil transmission pipelines at all of its fields, expressing its regret over the occurrence of such problems.

It also indicated that all measures were taken by the relevant departments to stop the leak.
