U.S. Special Envoy and Ambassador to Libya Richard Norland convened a meeting Monday with members of the Presidential Council (PC) Abdullah Al-Lafi and Musa Al-Koni.

The U.S. Embassy talks focused on the security conditions in southern Libya and national reconciliation.

Norland underscored that stability in the south, as well as national reconciliation, are crucial elements for ending conflict and improving the lives of all Libyans.

Norland arrived in Libya Monday, where he met with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and other Libyan and international representatives.
