The National Oil Corporation (NOC) estimated the losses resulting from the closure of ports and oil fields since January 17th, at $ 3,808 billion dollars.

NOC indicated in a statement issued Monday, that these amounts could have been spent on medical equipment to help fight coronavirus in Libya.

It assured citizens that it is doing its utmost to make sure that fuel is available in all parts of Libya without exception, despite the severe difficulties and the illegal closure of many oil production and distribution facilities.
