The National Oil Corporation (NOC) revealed a decrease in the oil and gas revenues in August at a value of 455 million US dollars compared to the previous month.

The revenues of August fell to about one billion and five hundred and seventy million US dollars, according to a table published on the NOC website.

This decline is due to the continued existence of force majeure in the oil ports located in the Gulf of Sirte during the first half of July

The production process was affected by the security challenges in the Sharara oil field, where the total loss of revenues during that period was around 639 million US dollars.
