The High National Election Commission (HNEC) said on Sunday it’s ready to hold parliamentary and presidential elections to end the political deadlock in the country. “We are totally ready to hold the elections and finalize the elections law to ensure they are accepted by all parties.” A statement by the HNEC reads.

Transactions processed through point of sale terminals have reached LYD 156 million since the launch of the services in January 2016, Jumhouria Bank has disclosed. More than 750 POS devices were installed in retail locations in Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata and Zawiya.
