GECOL media office said the first unit (262 megawatts) of Al-Khums power plant project has been put to test and will be activated in two days under the supervision of a foreign company. Recently, GECOL said the second unit was operating with a capacity of 524 megawatts.

The National Oil Corporation said Sunday that Gaza floating dock has loaded oil into the first vessel from Al-Buri oilfield after it had started pumping oil in late January. The floating dock was made in South Korea and arrived in Libya last May to replace the old Soluq oil installation.
