Presidential Council deputy head Ahmed Mitig confirmed that a referendum for Libya’s constitution as well as the elections will take place in no more than a year, adding that the goal of the political dialogue is going to end up with parliamentary and presidential elections in line with the UNSMIL’s Head action plan.

He also added in a presser with the Italian Foreign Minister, Angelino Alfano in Rome on Monday that the dialogue is ongoing to help stabilize Libya for the coming elections and referendum.
