Misrata International Airport announced on Saturday, the denial of entry for non-nationals, for any given reason, and states that this decision has been made as a measure to prevent the entry of the Coronavirus.
The airport administration cited the reasons for blocking entry of foreigners as a lack of health services in Libya, noting the very obvious spread of the Coronavirus epidemic throughout the world.
They added that an Indian citizen, who arrived in Misrata Airport on Friday, was deemed free of the Coronavirus by the National Centre of Disease, having been tested for the virus and diagnosed as negative.
