The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Omran Al-Qeeb met on Monday, with a delegation from Al-Khums municipality.
The meeting, which was held at the Ministry’s HQ, discussed many issues related to Al-Marqab University, and overcoming the difficulties and obstacles facing its workflow.
Al-Qeeb stressed that the reform process in the higher education and scientific research sector requires the selection of competencies according to the standards of ability and competence, and they should not be subject to emotion, regionalism and tribalism, which is what the ministry aspires to implement.
