The International Relations Department of the Libyan Red Crescent held a meeting with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to discuss the difficult humanitarian situation in the city of Ghat, south-west of Libya, these days.

In Tunisia, on Friday, the two sides reviewed promoting humanitarian and medical assistance for the flooding victims, with the need for joint coordination to provide such services.

The meeting also stressed to follow up the humanitarian situation in the western region, which continues to experience fierce fighting between the Libyan army and Haftar's militias.
