Libyan Naval Spokesman Ayoub Qasim criticised the , regarding its concern about the situation of migrants in Libya, saying that this report is part of the pressure exerted for settling migrants in Libya.

"All international organizations and others are applying double standards in implementing their plans, aimed at settling migrants in Libya, by playing the human rights card, from time to time," Qasim said in a press statement.

He stressed that this method is rejected by all Libyans, explaining that these organizations have shown no meaningful work to address the causes of the problem, as most of its attention is focused on migrants who use Libya as a transit corridor to other countries.
