Libyan Contact Group which includes Turkey, the United States, Britain, Italy, France, Egypt and Germany, held a meeting in Istanbul on Thursday.

The meeting, which is the third one after two meetings: first in Rome in late May, and then in Tunisia in early June.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry said that the talks discussed the latest developments in Libya.

Media sources said that the attendees also touched upon the agreement between Libyans on the draft constitution and elections that should have been held on December 24, 2021 but were postponed to an unknown date.
