Libya has signed with Egypt an agreement to facilitate the reopening of suspended factories in Libya.

Under the agreement, the two sides will form a joint committee to lend Egyptian skills, expertise, and technology, in addition to sending experts from the Arab Organization for Industrialization to the targeted factories in Libya.

Libya's Minister of Industry and Minerals, Ahmed Abu Hessa, and Minister of Economy and Trade, Muhammad Al-Hawij, signed the agreement with the Head of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, Abdel Moneim Al Taras on the sidelines of a visit to Cairo by Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibha.
