Libya receives new batch of Sputnik Covid-19 vaccine

Libya on Tuesday received its second batch of the Russian Sputnik Covid-19 vaccine to bolster its immunization drive against the virus.

According to the Medical Supply Service, the shipment consisting of 100,000 doses landed at Mitiga International Airport and passed the customs control.

Currently, the vaccine is stored at the examination and receipt committee warehouse, awaiting the confirmation of the Drug Inspection Department at the Food and Drug Control Center.
