Libya, Malta discuss health cooperation

The Minister of Health, Ali Al-Zanati, received on Monday, the Maltese Ambassador to Libya,  Charles Saliba and his accompanying delegation, to discuss strengthening health cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, plans and programs for the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic and the vaccination were reviewed and discussed.

The two sides also reviewed areas of health cooperation represented in benefiting from training programs for medical personnel, especially with regard to specialized nursing.

The Maltese side has confirmed its readiness to provide all efforts to cooperate in the health field, especially the file of confronting the Coronavirus pandemic, extending an invitation to the Minister to visit Malta and review the health system during the coming period.
