The Ministry of the Interior of the Government of National Accord (GNA) and the Ambassador of Germany to Libya, Oliver Owcza, agreed to form a joint working team to provide all necessary services and facilities in the immigration file.

Owcza, in a meeting with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, Mohamed Al-Shaibani, expressed his wish to communicate with the Ministry on an ongoing basis through a working group, formed specifically to assess the general situation of the immigration file.

Al-Shaibani said that Libya is attempting to provide facilities and services to all migrants, however, the countries providing aid are dealing with organizations operating on the ground in Libya, which is no guarantee that the aid fully reaches the migrants.
