The Libyan Interior Ministry discussed with its Algerian counterpart security issues, including ways to implement security cooperation agreements between the two countries and to combat crimes and drugs.

In a meeting with the Libyan Interior Ministry, which was the second of its kind in less than a week, the Secretary-General of the Algerian Interior Minister, Mohammed Aldramchi expressed his country's readiness to intensify training courses for Libyan police and civil protection personals, in addition to sharing expertise, visits, and experience.

He also expressed hope that a consensus would be reached on two security agreements as well as taking a set of measures to establish close security cooperation and coordination between the competent organs, according to Algerian news agency.
