A lecture on the status of the five Libyan historic cities that lay in danger was held on Tuesday evening at the Dar Hassan Faqih House, in the old town, Tripoli.

The lecture was attended by a number of the Antiquities Authority staff, the Department of Historic Cities Management, intellectuals and members of the public who are interested in this subject.

The lecture included information on the city of Shahat, and why it is placed on the danger list as it is one of the most important archaeological and historical cities in Libya and in the world.
