Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Illegal Immigration, Mohammed Al-Shibani discussed with officials at the Swiss Embassy the joint cooperation between both countries in the file of illegal immigration.

The two sides also reviewed during a meeting held in Tunis, the problems confronting the Libyan state in particular and the European countries in general, as a result of illegal immigration.

"This phenomenon has created many problems for Libya," Al-Shibani stressed, explaining that Libya is a transit country for these migrants, while Europe is their ultimate destination.
